HSL Mobile provide a suite of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) which can be easily integrated into any business or across an enterprise to enable clients to send and receive SMS messages.

- HTTP - HyperText Transfer Protocol (simple)
An application supporting HTTP can send and receive SMS via GET/POST requests. HTTP (simple) supports binary.
- HTTP - HyperText Transfer Protocol (sophisticated)
An application supporting HTTP can send and receive SMS via GET/POST requests.
- Web Services - SOAP/XML
An application supporting Web Services can send SMS directly to HSL's systems. Supports C#.
- SMPP - Short Message Peer to Peer; PICS
An application supporting SMPP can send and receive SMS directly to and from HSL's systems. Supports SMPP v3.3 and v3.4.
- SMTP - Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (sophisticated)
Enables seamless use of email software to send and receive SMS.
- SMTP - Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (simple)
An everyday email application for sending SMS.
